Set up the Scribeless Make connector

Connect Make to Scribeless with an API key.

Set up the Scribeless Make connector

Use the Scribeless Make connector when you want Make scenarios to add recipients to an existing Scribeless campaign.

Before you start, make sure you have:

  • A Make account with permission to create scenarios and connections.

  • A Scribeless account with an API key for the team you want Make to use.

  • At least one Scribeless campaign already created. Make adds recipients to an existing campaign; it does not create the campaign for you.

Copy your Scribeless API key

In Scribeless, open your API keys page and copy an API key for the team that owns the campaign you want to use.

Keep the key private. You will paste it into Make once, when you create the Scribeless connection.

Find Scribeless in Make

In Make, create a new scenario or open an existing one. Add a module and search for Scribeless.

Search for Scribeless in Make

Choose the Scribeless app, then select the module you want to use. Most scenarios use Add Recipient to Campaign.

Create the connection

When the Scribeless module asks for a connection, select Add. Give the connection a clear name, paste your Scribeless API key, then save it.

Create a Scribeless connection in Make

Make verifies the API key before saving the connection. After the connection is saved, it can be reused by other Scribeless modules in the same Make team.

Troubleshooting

If Make rejects the API key, create or copy a fresh Scribeless API key and try again.

If Make cannot find a campaign, check that the campaign belongs to the same Scribeless team as the API key.

If you manage multiple Make teams or Scribeless teams, check both team names before creating the connection.
