Add Typeform respondents to a Scribeless campaign with Zapier

Learn how to add Typeform respondents to an existing Scribeless campaign with Zapier.

Add Typeform respondents to a Scribeless campaign with Zapier

This guide uses Zapier as the connector, but the same shape works in Make, Pipedream, n8n, or similar tools: trigger from a new Typeform submission, map the respondent's address data, then add the person as a recipient in Scribeless.

Before you build the Zap, create the campaign in Scribeless. Choose the note design, handwriting style, message, and any merge variables first. Zapier's Scribeless action adds recipients to an existing campaign; it does not create the campaign content for you.

What this automation does

When someone submits a Typeform form, Zapier sends their name and postal address to Scribeless and adds them as a recipient in your chosen campaign.

Use this for B2B workflows such as demo requests, event registrations, lead capture forms, customer feedback forms, or partner onboarding forms where you want a handwritten follow-up.

What you need

  • A Typeform form with address fields, including first name, last name, address line 1, city, postal code, and country.

  • A Scribeless campaign that is ready to receive recipients.

  • A Zapier account connected to both Typeform and Scribeless.

Build the Zap

  1. In Zapier, create a new Zap. You can use Copilot or build it manually.

  2. Set the trigger app to Typeform.

  3. Choose the Typeform trigger event for a new form submission or new entry.

  4. Connect your Typeform account.

  5. Select the form that collects the recipient details.

  6. Test the trigger so Zapier can pull in a recent form submission.

In the editor, the Typeform step should be the trigger and the Scribeless step should be the action.

Add the Scribeless action

  1. Add a second step.

  2. Choose Scribeless.

  3. Set the action event to Add Recipients.

  4. Connect your Scribeless account.

  5. If you are in more than one Scribeless organization, choose the organization that has the campaign you want to use.

Map the fields

In the Scribeless Configure tab:

  1. Choose the campaign in Campaign ID.

  2. Map Typeform's first name answer to First Name.

  3. Map Typeform's last name answer to Last Name.

  4. Map the form's address fields into Address line 1, Address line 2, city, state or county, postal code, and country fields where available.

  5. Optionally map company, department, job title, email, phone, or a lead source field if your Scribeless campaign uses those values.

Zapier's field picker lets you insert values from the Typeform submission into each Scribeless input. If a field does not appear, retest the Typeform trigger with a submission that includes data in that field.

Test and turn on

  1. Test the Scribeless action with a real or internal test submission.

  2. Confirm the recipient appears in the correct Scribeless campaign.

  3. Check that the address is complete and formatted correctly.

  4. Turn on the Zap.

Optional controls

Add a filter if only some form submissions should receive handwritten mail, such as submissions from target accounts, qualified leads, or specific countries.

Add a delay if the note should be sent after a sales call, event, or qualification step. You can do this in Zapier, or handle follow-up logic in Scribeless if your account uses a suitable flow setup.
